Abortion

I am pro-life and oppose abortion, since I consider life is sacred and precious. In special circumstances, I believe we should also protect pregnant women's health, safety, and well-being. In this Congressional race, I'm undoubtedly the only pro-life candidate, which was even confirmed by my two pro-choice opponents.

I also do not agree with the usage of the phrase "pro-choice". Abortion, even if allowed in special circumstances, is a very difficult and painful "decision" to make for all parties involved, including the pregnant woman, her spouse or partner, and their families. Making abortion seem like a simple, personal "choice" is gravely misleading and irresponsible.
