NEW JERSEY'S 7TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT INFORMATION
New Jersey's Seventh Congressional District is currently represented by Republican Mike Ferguson. In 2006, Ferguson faced Democratic Party nominee Linda Stender, an Assemblywoman and former Union County Freeholder and Fanwood Councilmember. Ferguson is not running in 2008, and therefore the NJ-07 Congressional district is an open seat.
